There's nothing like a kids excitement as getting mail addressed to them.

Family Explorer Mail is a collection of six fun, screen-free family missions designed to get kids noticing, questioning, creating, solving and exploring, while giving the whole family an easy reason to spend time together.

Each Explorer Mail arrives ready to go. Choose a mission, open the envelope and start exploring.

There's no complicated preparation, no special equipment to buy and no right or wrong way to complete the adventure. The missions use things you already have at home or places you already know because the idea is to make family time easier, not give parents another job.

And the best bit? Kids get to take the lead.

What's inside?

Every Explorer Mail is designed to give your family more than just one activity. Depending on the mission, you'll find a combination of:

The activities are designed to be flexible there's no deadline, no marking and no "wrong" way to complete them. The whole point is to let your child lead and see where the adventure takes you.

Every adventure has been designed by our teacher, Gemma, with the curriculum in mind but the learning is the off-shoot, not the purpose. Kids get to explore, create, question and have fun, while the learning happens naturally along the way.

Want to know what's happening behind the scenes? Each adventure includes a QR code where you can dig deeper into the learning, curriculum connections and age-appropriate questions you can use to keep the conversation going at home.

Choose your adventure

🔎 The Oldest Thing
Go hunting around your home for the oldest thing you can find. Ask the grown-ups for clues, uncover its story and create your own Discovery Report. Along the way, kids get to estimate, investigate and discover the stories hiding inside the things their family owns.

🗺️ Making Maps
Think you know your neighbourhood? Think again. Explore somewhere familiar and look for the things you normally walk straight past. Then create a secret map showing what you discovered, including a favourite place and a mystery you couldn't explain.

🌿 Nature Detectives
Head outside and become nature detectives. Look closely for signs of the natural world — something growing, evidence of an animal, something left behind and something surprising. Then follow the clues and work out what you think happened.

🔷 Shape Explorers
Shapes are hiding everywhere. Build your own Shape City using things you can find around you, then discover 2D and 3D shapes, symmetry and all the different things a simple shape can become.

🏗️ Engineering Lab
Become an engineer and see what you can build. Create a tower, test it against the wind, make it stronger and keep experimenting. Then try bridges, paper experiments, materials, balance and more.

🏆 The Ultimate Family Challenge
This one is different. Your Explorer becomes the organiser and creates a Family Challenge Day for everyone. With a series of silly, competitive and creative challenges, the whole family gets involved, and this time, the kids are in charge.
